What a great season for all!

All- Stars was great. Final results will be posted by Tuesday. Everyone had a great time at the meet. We started off a little slow but times improved as we progressed through the meet.

I will leave all the awards from yesterday at HAC. I also will leave the folders for people who missed the picnic at the pool. The metal plates with the date should be in Tuesday. The plate has 2014 and each swimmer should pick one up to add  to their Kings Landing wooden award ever swimmer receives his/her first summer with Kings Landing Swim Team.

Parents- Alexia , Hannah and myself would like to thank you for the wonderful cards. Thank you for driving your kids to practice and meets and for volunteering.

Enjoy your vacations for those who have waited until the end of the season. We look forward to seeing everyone next summer!!  Start scouting- we need 8 and under girls and more 13-14 boys.

Good luck to those swimmers who have aged out.

Kings Landing Lionfish are now 3-1
Great job by all the swimmers yesterday- We also had fewer DQ's yesterday!
Once again we had some fantastic and exciting races!

Our last regular season meet is next Saturday AT WEST LAUREL. Parents please check your directions to West Laurel.  We will need volunteers for this meet.

Swimmers- Please let me know when you are leaving the meet. Yesterday I was looking for several 9-10 yr old girls for the last relay and for the 8 and under relay. One of the swimmers had to leave early so I was in need of a replacement swimmer.

Regular practice schedule this week. The week of July 14th, only swimmers attending the Divisional Meet will need to be at practice.  I will have a rough idea of the Divisional Meet line up by Friday.  I  can enter 2 swimmers in each event and 1 relay team for each relay event. Swimmers can be entered in 3 individual events and 1 relay or 2 relays and 2 individual events.

Parents - please let me know by Tuesday evening if your swimmer will not be at the meet on Saturday.

Thank you to all the parents who helped set up for the meet, worked the meet and to those who stayed after to help clean up after the meet.

Last note - we have an end of the season picnic at Kings Landing Pool. More details will follow.  All families are invited and we also hand out awards. Every swimmers will receive something to take home.

Congratulations Lionfish!  Great swimming yesterday!

Practice this week:
Monday - Friday 9-10:30 for 11 an up
                             10:30-11:30  10 and under
THIS WEEK ONLY- we will have one evening practice this week and it will be on WEDNESDAY. NO PRACTICE THURSDAY EVENING!!

Friday night set-up - Thank you to Samantha White and her family, Mrs. Lepine( Stephen's mom), Dawn Hafer (Claire's mom), and Nate Atkins( Sydney and Jadyn's dad).
Saturday- Thank you to all the parents who volunteered at the meet and to those who stayed to help clean up after the meet.

A few things we need to work on for next week:

Swimmers- you must know your events and know when you need to be at clerk of course. I missed watching  4-5 heats yesterday because I was looking for  swimmers and I don't know if Hannah saw any of the meet as she searched for swimmers.  Alexa tends to stay in one spot so swimmers can ask her questions about events, clerk of course, and more.  Please come to one of us if you need to know when to go to clerk of course or your events.

Next week is our last home meet! Please let me know by Tuesday if you will not be at the meet.

Divisional Championship Meet- July 19th
For the Divisional Meet , each team enters the top 2 swimmers  in each age group in each event plus one relay team for each relay event.
I mention this now so parents will not be surprised when I ask their swimmer(s) to continue attending practice the week of July 14th.

The last meet of the season is July 26- This is the All Star Meet.  The top finishers from the Divisional Meets swim against the top swimmers from the other Divisions in the Princemont League
